Did you know that worm wee is fertiliser for plants?

What you need:
  • Rubber garden gloves
  • Sheep poo -Fertilizer
  • Trowel- small
  • Garden bed
  • Seedling in a plastic pot
  • Watering can filled with water mixed with worm wee
Method:
  1. Put on your garden gloves and make sure that it is the right fit for you.
  2. Find a space in the garden bed and dig up the soil to make a deep hole using the trowel.
  3. Drop the sheep poo into the hole.
  4. Grab your plastic pot with the seedling and squish the pot softly so that the soil can come out easily.
  5. Hold the plant between your index finger and your middle finger, then turn the pot around and take the pot out carefully.
  6. Use your other hand to support the seedling and place it into the hole.
  7. After that, you can use a trowel or your hands to cover up the top with some more soil.
  8. Take off your rubber gloves and get a watering can and fill it up with water (you can add diluted worm pee as extra fertiliser for the seedling).
  9. Water your seedling, make sure the water soaks into the soil and do not put too much water or your plant will drown.
  10. Finally, you can wash your hands properly with soap and your seedling is ready to grow in your garden bed.
Learning intention: We are learning to write a procedure.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I write the steps for replanting a seedling into a garden bed.
