On Saturday 27th of June our family decided to have a family fundraising together as a family. We went to Glen-brae hall and we traveled there by car. The weather was cloudy and warm.
When we arrived there we thought that the fundraising was almost finished but actually it had just started. First we watched some dances. They were really amazing. People put money in the bowl if hey like the dance. We watched and joined into most of the dances. I felt exhausted afterwards but I really had fun dancing. We ate some snacks like pudding and I also had cold water to quench my thirst.
Then my sister and I played outside on the empty sand pit. We played tag and it was really fun. I always had to be the tagger because I was slow. Next we played on the park, we played on the obstacles for a long time. After a while we went back in to eat some more delicious food like pork, taro, salad, chicken, chopsuey and cold refreshing water. Later we went back to play . We played at the big park with my cousins. It was so fun. I would always have butterflies in my stomach because of the height of the obstacles and it was like I was going to fall.
Finally we were going home. We decided to stop at Pak'nSave for some ice-cream and cake for later. Then we went home feeling exhausted as if we had ran the basin 10 times.
I had so much fun at the fundraising. Maybe next time I hope that we can go again so we will have more time to have fun.

Yay! I'm going to Mt. Albert again!
On the 20th of June we went to Mt. Albert gymnasium with my parents and my siblings by car. We went there to have some fun together.
When we first arrived my aunt, uncle, cousins and niece were all there. We started playing basketball straight away. After a while, my cousin asked me to help her find her contact lenses. We looked everywhere but it was extremely hard to find because it was dark and the contact lenses are very tiny. However when we went back to their car , we found it stuck on the door.
Next we had another problem. My cousin had lost 40 dollars, but luckily my cousin and I spotted it under the car. Fortunately it was under the car otherwise it would have been blown away for it was very windy. I went back to play some more. I played master with my cousin and we played for a long time. Then we played hand-ball and it was really fun.
After a while, my sister taught my cousin and I some basic skills about netball. She taught us how to pass and catch the ball. Next we had a game of netball. I got two goals in the hoop. It was very hard because it was very high up, tall as the tallest man in the world. My sister is really at playing netball. She was playing as if she were playing all her life. Sometimes I would get butterflies in my stomach as the the ball comes towards me as if it was going to hit me! Whenever I am not participating my sister looks at me and it looks like as if she was saying "Pull your socks up!"
Finally it was time to go . We went to MacDonald's for some dessert. We had soft-serve ice cream and some frozen coke. Then we went home.
I had so much fun! I hope next time we can go to Mt. Albert and spend more time together as a family.

Seriously, you have to go to Valentines!
On the 31st of May we celebrated my cousin's 21st birthday. We celebrated it at a restaurant called "Valentines". My cousins, aunties, uncles, grandma, mum and siblings were all at the birthday party. We travelled to Valentines by car.
When we arrived at the restaurant, the very first thing we did was we sat down at the table that had to pink and white balloons on it. Then we went to get ourselves something to eat. There was Sushi, hot chips, macaroni and cheese, spring rolls, sea-food meat, vegetables and dips. We also had drinks like lemon water and juice.
A while later we went to the kid's room to look after my cousin's son. It looked like an arcade but it only had 3 game machines in there. There were two games called "The claw" and one arcade game. My nephew won a warriors rugby ball. It was black and white. After that my cousin blew out her candles for her 21st birthday. After that we had dessert and I was so eager to see what was on offer for dessert. There was cookies and cream ice-cream a, pavlova, mud cake, waffles and cream and healthy toppings. The food was cold yet satisfying.
Finally it was time to go home. We got dropped off. When we went home, we all we all layed down to sleep because we were all exhausted. Meanwhile my mum tried on her new clothes with her sister.
I had the most memorable day ever. I hope that next time we can go Valentines again to have more wonderful and delicious food.
