How many times have you been to the Mt. Albert gymnasium?
On thee 25th of July my dad, sister and I went to Mt. Albert grammar gymnasium to play some games and have some fun. We went to the gymnasium in the car. My aunt, uncle, cousins, niece and nephew were at the gymnasium. I could not wait to go and play lot's of games.
When we arrived to the gymnasium after an enduring ride with lot's of traffic jams. First we said, "Hello!" to everyone, then we rushed to the basketball court to play some hoops. The hoop was incredibly high up. I was really awful at aiming for the hoop that even my girlish niece was way superior than me. Sometimes I would grab the ball just to prove that I am good at playing hoops. I shot only once or twice while everyone else were getting their shots in at least several of times.
My niece, cousins, sister and I finally recommended having a rest because we were absolutely exhausted. We cooled down at the corner of the gymnasium and we watched the adults play volleyball while we listened to some music. A the music was playing we danced and people looked at us awkradly. The babies kept on rushing us dancing, they were so cute and dainty. Next we decided to play continuous line ta. We were running and sprinting all around the gymnasium. I was so awesome. I would always be the tagger and it was so hard to try not to be in.
After a while we played a game called day and night. We were so tired and yet we carried on playing. I loved being in for the first time in ever. It was so fun but at the same time it was hard because we had to be blind-folded and we kept running into each-other. I was pretty positive that I was good at this game so this turned out to be a good game. We were having lots and lots of fun. After that we had to go home and it was another long drive home again.
I had so much fun at the gymnasium. I hope next time we go to the gymnasium we can play day and night again because it was my favorite game. I also had a pleasant and mysteriously time with my family. I thought I would be good at shooting hoops but I was not.

Wow, that birthday party was amazing!
On eleventh of July 2015 we celebrated my niece’s 4th birthday. We celebrated it at my cousin’s house. My grandma, uncle, aunt, cousins, siblings , nephews, niece and my parents were at the birthday celebration. When we arrived at the house, was a bouncy castle, a big house tent and a lot of people, it was superb.
First my siblings and I played Last card. It was boring but it was fun when we won. We also played President. President is a game when every player has 13 cards and the first person to place all their cards down is the winner. We also played kemps and it was was awesome. The game is played like this, there are four players involved. There are two pairs and they each have a difficult signal. The person who has 4 of the same cards signals their partner so they can say say kemps!
After a while, I went to the bounce house and I was jumping up and down like a monkey. It was outrageously fun. Then my sister came and we took some pictures with my niece’s tablet. Next, we went in the tent house to eat and sing the happy birthday song. We said a food grace, then we all had some food to eat. We had MacDonald's and barbecue. After that, we went to play outside and we played tag. I had so much fun.
Next my cousin, sister and I gave out party bags to the children. There were party poppers, lollies, chocolate, chips and bubbles. Everyone were so crazy and impatient like jumping monkeys. Then we had to go home.
I had so much fun. I hope I can go to another great birthday with the bouncy castles again.

Do you know how fun Kelly Tarlton's is?
On the 15th of July, my dad and my siblings and I went to Kelly Tarlton’s because we had free tickets and we wanted to have some fun. We travelled there by car and I was extremely excited because I wanted to see the sea animals.
When we first arrived at Kelly Tarlton’s, we went through a tunnel where there were old items that people used in Antarctica. There were old pianos that played by themselves, tables, chairs, cups, plates, beds and old rags. Then we went into another room and it was all white. Then we took some pictures in front of the green screen. Next, there was a bridge that moved when we walked through it, it was amazing.
After a while, we went to check out the penguins. They were so cute and cuddly. Next one of the feeders went into the room with the penguins to feed them. After that we went to see the crazy things that were in the room next to the penguin feed. There was a challenge where we had to put our hand in an icy cold hole for at least thirty seconds. My sister and my brother tried it, but I had butterflies in my stomach so I decided not to have a go. My brother had his hand in the hole for a minute and I was amazed of his fearlessness.
Later on we went to the shark zone. We saw amazing sea creatures like giant fish, and giant stingrays. Next we went to see the other creatures. We also went on a moving platform and we saw wonderful fish, crabs, lobsters, sharks, turtles, stingrays and mussels. There were different kinds of fish like puffer fish, clown-fish and giant fish. There were also eels, squid and humongous lobsters.
After that, we went to the sea-horse kingdom. The sea-horses had very astonishing looks. Next, we went to the gift shop. At the gift shop. At the gift shop, we got to see photos that we took in front of the green screen.
I had the most fabulous time of my life. I hope next time we go Kelly Tarlton’s there will be even more interesting sea animals to see.
