Open questions- Require more information, explanation or opinion. They may give more choices: e.g. What happened? How was your holiday? What did you enjoy most about it?
Closed questions- Usually have only one answer: e.g. How old are you? Do you read books?
Open and Closed Questions are a very important part of speech and comprehension.
