Today was the last day of Tech. On the last day of Tech our task was to complete and finalize all of our work that we had started from the very beginning of the semester.
One of the task that we had to finish was to analysing a photo and summarise it from what we had visualised. The Artwork was based off of a broke busker and everyone had the choice of making assumptions on what the artwork could possibly be about or telling us. We made assumptions based on what we saw, we had to especially notice the small, simple things around to make better assumptions on the artwork.
Our next step was to create a parody drawing of The Beatles photo on the crosswalk. To make the parody we took the photo and replaced The Beatles band members with cartoon characters of our choice. We did this by using the chromebook to search up these characters and draw them on the paper with the same aspect as the original photo. In this task we could change up the things around in the scenery but just not the crossing and the road so that when people see the work, they would know that we based it off of the Beatles crosswalk photo.
We also had the chance to add touch-ups and fix up our Singlets that we drew and painted. This was our main focus of art and our most important one. Luckily I had finished and fixed up my singlet which I am very proud of.
As soon as we completed and finished all these tasks, we left the visual arts classroom and ran off to our bus to school. I had an amazing time at Technicraft and enjoyed taking visual arts very much. I was very proud with my work and I look forward to taking the same class with Mr. B next term for tech.
